I thought it'd be fun to do at least one "lucky" St. Patty's day card :) I always seem to need birthday and any occassion type cards so I threw a few of those in too! Pick two and LMK!!

Oh and Sale-a-bration is still on and in FULL swing :) the cute 'for you' stamp is from the 'Punch Bunch' set from that catalog ... I LoVe it!!

i LOVE this time of year! i love the new mini catalog with it's spring time ideas {and LOVE the idea of spring all together!} and it's SALE-A-BRATION! if you're new to Stampin' up then i'll give a brief run down on what sale-a-bration is :) it is the biggest, best sale of the year and all you do is spend $50 on product {minus the clearance rack ... bummer, i know} and you get to pick a FREE product out of the sale-a-bration catalog! there's no limit either ... for every $50 you spend you will get something FREE! they have some REALLY cute stamp sets, paper, vinyl, digital scrapbook stuff, etc. :) it runs from Jan 25th - Mar 31st, so don't miss out!

so it's been a while since i've posted projects ... i've been slacking since baby B came into my life :) i'll start with the most recent and go back from there ... this month we are making these really cute baby cards and wedding/love card ... hope you like them!

projects from june consisted of a water bottle topper, sparkler holder and fun summer bday card ...

next up were some projects from may ...

finally the projects from april were a cute 'thank you' and mom's day card ...

the {big} color renovation!!

Sooooo excited about this!! Stampin' Up! just announced a {color renovation} coming in July with the new catalog! I think they totally have updated to hit the trends in today's market, and give a good facelift to the colors they had! They have decided to retire many of the current colors {some that I'm REALLY going to miss ... Taken with Teal, Close to Cocoa :( but they are bringing back some of my FAV in-colors back ... Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red to name a few :)

Here's the new Color Renovation Groups ...

We are getting 5 new Core Colors: Daffodil Delight (a yummy yellow), Early Espresso (deep brown), Cajun Craze (a rusty orange), Cherry Cobbler (a deep relevant red), Marina Mist (as close to Taken with Teal as I'm going to get lol!)

Brights Collection: Regal Rose, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Real Red

Now ... the other cool thing they are doing is changing up how the in-colors are going to work. They will be bringing in 5 new In Colors July and instead of being available for just 1 year they will have them out for 2 years! Then in the next catalog they will add 5 more so there will be a total of 10 In Colors with five rotating out and five rotating in every year. :)

All of these changes will happen in the new catalog in July ... so that means if there's a color you don't want to live without ... now's the time to stock up! They are going to change Stampin' Up! markers for all Core Colors (including former In Colors and the newest colors), expansion of colors for Stampin' Pastels and Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an awesome Color Coach tool that will make color selection better than ever! Tonight we did some cute projects for Easter ... I think they turned out cute :) I hope you like them! ... First is this cute bunny made from the milk carton sizzlix die ... and then I put the carrot in the basket ... {I'll put pics up of them separate too so you can see how cute they are}

and then finally is this little chica card ... I think she's sooooo cute!

next month I'll get some fun Mom's day and springy cards too! Think warm thoughts :)

I really am trying to get back in the swing of things on my lack of blogging! I have goals to get caught up so let's see how well I do :)

a good way to {start} your supply list!

Many people often wonder what supplies they need to get started with paper crafting. I’ve racked my brain to remember where I started and things I can't live without! Here's a list of what I think some of the basics are. You can use it for some ideas of what to buy to start off. :)

Paper Cutter (pg 189) - Portable & lightweight, cuts paper up to 12”, features easy-to-read grid lines, measures up to 15-1/2”, & comes with 2 cutting blades. I use my scoring blade as much as my cutting.

Snail Adhesive (pg 191) – Double sided, permanent adhesive dispensed continuously. Easy to refill too!

Whisper White Card Stock (pg 153) – 40 sheets, 8-1/2” x 11” size, acid free. The best white cardstock ever!

Assorted Card Stock (pg 154-155) – 36 sheets, 8-1/2” x 11” size, 3 each of 12 colors, your choice of color family: Bold Brights, Earth Elements, Rich Regals, or Soft Subtles.

Basic Black Classic Stampin’ Pad (pg 153) – Full-size ink pad, also waterproof.

Choc. Chip Stampin’ Pad (pg 154 ) – The best brown! A staple in my stamping.

Assorted Colors that I use most (pg 154-155) – Choc. Chip, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, and Bashful Blue. Oh and any ‘in colors’ are great!

Stampin’ Scrub (pg 189)– Has two scrubbing pads-one side you spray with Stampin’ Mist cleaner & rub the stamp on to clean & the other side you rub the stamp on to dry it.

Stampin’ Mist (pg 189) – Cleans & conditions rubber stamps, preserves the life of the rubber, comes in a convenient spray bottle.

VersaMark Pad (pg 190) – Creates a tone-on-tone or watermark effect, also used for applying embossing powder.

Paper Snips (pg 189)– These are small and thin-bladed. Great for cutting in the tiniest of areas! (you can find at Target or Walmart for a few dollars less)

Stampin’ Dimensionals (pg 191) – 300 in the package, these are thick double-sided, adhesive foam dots, perfect for adding a 3-D effect.

Crop-A-Dile (pg 189) – This is an amazing tool! It punches through chipboard, tin & multiple layers of paper so easily! It also sets eyelets silently & easily in 2 sizes. (if you shop at Michaels or Roberts you can use a 40% off weekly coupon on this and get a good deal!)

Mat Pack (pg 188) – Includes the paper-piercing pad, paper-piercing template, & setting mat, each 4” x 4”. It’s how I get those perfectly spaced pierced holes & helps to evenly space brads.

Getting Started!

So I have been in a Stampin' Up club for 2 years now and have {loved} every minute! My awesome demonstrator Addie decided that she was going to retire and it got me thinking ... I should become a demonstrator myself! I have a room full of Stampin' Up things and am slightly obsessed with adding to my collection :) What I decided to do is to start a club of my own! I am planning on starting in March and we'll do some cute Easter projects. I want to have about 10 people in a group and we will get together once a month and do 2 or 3 projects. Usually cards, or cute little boxes, or whatever I can come up with for that month. There is no cost to make the projects. I plan them, and everyone makes them and takes them home. You need to place an order of $15.00 or greater if you like:) and that's it! Each person gets a month to be hostess and will for sure get $15.00 of free products and also get to earn a free stamp set or product in the level 1 category that month. You could invite more people on your month too and boost your sales to earn more free stuff! It is SO much fun talking and hanging out for that hour-hour and a half. It is a good break and fun to leave with a cute project you created. (and I PROMISE I won't pressure to sell you on more...I hate when people do that to me, so I definitely won't do that!) So basically....I want to see who would be interested in being in the club! If you know any other of your friends or family that might want to join, let them know too!
